Childhood Arthritis Month
For most parents it is inconceivable that their child could have arthritis, but the reality is arthritis does not discriminate. Sadly, far too many children and families live with the pain and fear that go along with a diagnosis of Juvenile Arthritis. Today, one in 1000 children in Canada live with arthritis. We’re counting on you to help us continue to invest in world-class research and care for children living with the pain and disability of arthritis, so that all children with the disease can one day live active, healthy lives. March Is Childhood Arthritis Month, donate today. Click here

Chronic Pain Management Workshop
Many of us live with chronic pain. It can be all-consuming and lead to loss of mobility, sleep distrubance, and depression. The Arthritis Society can help. Our Chronic Pain Management Workshop (CPMW) is a two-hour course that shows you techniques to deal with the pain. Our workshop presenters, many of whom struggle with the chronic pain of arthritis, discuss the sources of pain, various tools for handeling pain and the role of exercise in the pain management. Techniques to address anxiety and depression are also covered. If you would like more information on the CPMW please contact Sue here.
